Event Gig: Culinary Staff Wanted

Are you friendly, detail-oriented, and ready to be part of exclusive events? The JDK Group is hiring Culinary staff for a vibrant event day on Saturday, 10/1+/24. As a member of our culinary team , you’ll help deliver exceptional food to our high-end clients. There are a variety of locations and shift times available and we can be somewhat flexible depending on the situation. This could lead to regular employment with us!

Job Requirements:
• Prior culinary experience is a plus but not required
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Must have reliable transportation

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of kitchen equipment
• Food preparation and finishing
• Plating and presentation
• Food safety and hygiene, maintaining cleanliness and organization of kitchen area

Additional Requirement: All candidates must attend a brief service training session on Wednesday 10/16 to familiarize themselves with our service standards and event procedures. This is essential to maintain the high level of service expected at our events.

Compensation:

Pay is $15.00/hour for both the training session and the event shift and will be combined into one payment made available on Monday, 10/21/24 through Venmo or paper check.
