Job Description
The Credentialing Specialist will play a key role in ensuring a streamlined onboarding process while Building relationships with health care professionals. You will act as an expert regarding licensing, certification, medical documentation, background screening, and additional credentialing requirements from our partner VMSs and facilities.
JOB TASKS:
• Collaborate with the Healthcare relationship management (HRM) and marketplace account management team (MAM) to ensure timely assignment starts
• Manage external employee file audits including Agreements, Confirmations, and Expense data
• Work directly with healthcare professionals to obtain all credentials for new contracts and placements
• Schedule drug screens, background checks and other required tests for healthcare professionals
• Handle the timely bookings of all housing/travel requests for external staff as assigned by HRM and MAM
• Tracks and sends reminders for expiring health documents and certifications
• Communicate directly with health care professionals regarding first day instructions for new assignments
• Collaborate directly with Accounting to ensure all stipend and bonuses are requested and assist with answering payroll/timesheet inquiries
• Help ensure HR team is actively aware of all existing and ending contracts to ensure accurate headcount totals
• Input and Maintain accurate employee records in the new hire system
• Maintain confidential personnel files for healthcare professionals
