Job Title: Part-Time School Lunch Coordinator

Location: Various Schools in North Shore Chicago Suburbs (Northbrook, Kenilworth, Winnetka, Deerfield, etc.)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2-3+ hours per day

Job Overview:

As a School Lunch Coordinator, you will be the on-site representative of Marlas Lunch at your assigned school. You’ll oversee the daily distribution of lunches, ensuring smooth operations while providing excellent customer service to students and staff. This part-time position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children, can stay organized in a busy environment, and has a keen eye for detail.

No cooking, no mess, no clean up

Key Responsibilities:
• Lunch Setup & Distribution: Organize and distribute labeled lunches by grade or teacher, ensuring accuracy.
• Quality Monitoring: Track meal deliveries and report any issues with quality or timing.
• Customer Assistance: Help students locate their lunches and resolve any problems using provided reports.
• Communication: Provide quick updates to the team about daily operations, missing items, or other concerns.
• Cleanup: Ensure the area is clean and equipment is ready for vendor pickup.

Requirements:
• A friendly, patient, and helpful demeanor, especially when working with children.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to go up/down stairs when needed, lift up to 20 pounds and stand for the duration of the 2-3 hour shift.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the spot.
• Must have a reliable car, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
• Comfortable with using basic technology (text, email) to communicate with the team.
