Warehouse Associate| Material Handler|Driver Helper

AtWork Personnel is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Material Handler/Driver Helper

MUST HAVE Class B Driver's License

Work Location: Dallas, Texas 7522+
Pay Rate: $22-$25 per hour
Shift: 7:30 am-3:30 pm Monday-Friday

Duties/Responsibilities Warehouse Material Handler :
• Moves materials in the warehouse and loads / unloads trucks safely, accurately, and promptly.
• Accurately records all material movements on move sheets and/or wireless computer system on forklifts
• Regularly assists with receiving material on paperwork, counts material, tags material, etc.
• Assists in handling customer pickups, salesperson pickups, etc.
• Maintains specified housekeeping zone.
• This position will obtain packaging equipment and materials and deliver items to customers.
• Performs routine inspection on assigned vehicles and refers defects or repairs to supervisor.
• Maintains clean truck, cab, and freight areas.
• Complete all required continuous learning training, including safety, compliance, and job specific

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Stand up forklift certification required.
• Learns quickly and rapidly applies what has been taught. Flexible, willing to do what has been asked.
• Highly safety and quality-conscious; making good decisions about working safely and about identification of product.
• Organized – keeps paperwork and orders in proper sequence.
• Professional communicator – with customers, drivers, other co-workers, etc.
• Detail-oriented, checks his/her own work and corrects mistakes made.
• Good to excellent attendance record.

Education/Experience:
• High School graduate, or GED equivalent.
• Recent experience with sit-down forklift, stand up forklift, and pallet jacks required, with excellent safety record.
• Minimum of 1-5 years of applicable experience required, with familiarity with similar packaging products preferred.
• Three (3) years of relevant driving experience (Class B)
• Experience with using PC and applications, warehouse management systems, wireless forklift computer systems, and scanners preferred.
