Experion Care NZ is a growing Age Care operator in NZ. Experion Care currently owns six specialized Residential Care facilities in the North and South Island.

Woodfall Home and Hospital is a part of our group, located in Fielding. About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team as a Casual Caregiver at Woodfall Home and Hospital.

As the successful candidate, you must have a certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or equivalent) and/or at least 2 years' experience in caregiving, have empathy for the elderly and be dedicated to making our rest home a wonderful place to live and work.

About you

· Experience preferred but not essential.

· Capable of managing challenging behaviours.

· Good communication and listening skills.

· Must be available for Night Shift, if needed.

· High energy, enthusiasm and a team player.

· Be Flexible and have a reliable transport.

· Be punctual, reliable and honest.

Key skills required

· Dynamic and team player.

· Good communication skills.

· Computer literate.

· You must be empathetic but also firm and resilient.

· Be able to engage with family and be culturally sensitive.

· All applicants must have a valid work visa, New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residency
