Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a leading accredited law school
Admission to the state bar of Missouri and/or Kansas
5+ years of experience in corporate law, ideally gained in an AM LAW setting
Strong research, writing, and communication skills

Assist the firms senior partners in all areas of corporate and commercial law
Conducting in-depth analysis, due diligence, and valuation of potential M&A targets
Offer advice to public and private companies and their management on acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and other matters that affect business operations
You will work with clients across a broad array of sectors, including energy and aerospace
Assist in the development and future success of the firms corporate practice group

Job description
I am currently working with a lead partner at a highly regarded regional law firm, who is actively looking to recruit a senior attorney who specializes in corporate law to join their growing practice in Kansas City.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the firms senior partners in all areas of corporate and commercial law.
• Conducting in-depth analysis, due diligence, and valuation of potential M&A targets.
• Offer advice to public and private companies and their management on acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and other matters that affect business operations.
• You will work with clients across a broad array of sectors, including energy and aerospace.
• Assist in the development and future success of the firms corporate practice group.
