Venue Manager

Work for one of Queenstown's iconic hospitality groups in a newly created role of Venue Manager for their latest venture. This ******** offering is all about delivering an excellent guest experience, developing your team by implementing new processes and strategies in a fun and buzzing environment.

The Role:

Is critical to the establishment's success, you will lead the Bar and Floor brigade of about 8 - 10 people through inspiring and effective leadership. You will be motivated to train, develop and upskill your team to ensure service expectations are always met, along with analysing sales data and strategic planning to maximise revenue, stock take management, working through any HR issues that arise including recruitment, training and performance management. You will lead from the front in delivering outstanding customer service, upselling sales techniques, networking and building relationships with industry professionals.

Experience & Skills Required:
Experienced Venue Manager with demonstrated tenure & loyalty to employers and employees.
Previous roles working in an intimate, service focused hospitality environment in NZ.
A high level of wine and cocktail knowledge, WSET & current Managers Certificate.
Proven track record of leading and developing teams, a passion for hosting and creating memorable experiences and events.
High personal grooming and presentation standards, always looking the part.
Comprehensive financial acumen, hitting budget targets, controlling labour and keeping beverage cost in line.
Commitment to relocating and living in Queenstown.
Be a strong strategic leader, always thinking outside the square with the continuous improvement philosophy.
Perks & Benefits:

$75k - $85k per annum (experience dependant)

40-45 hours per week which will include both weekend days (RDO's will be weekdays)
