Lingerie Fitter| Permanent Part time

The Fitting Room is a specialty Lingerie and Swimwear business, with a reputation for top-quality personalised service. There is a particular focus on fuller cup sizes (D - K) and post-mastectomy products.

We have 2 part time permanent positions available, between 6-12 hours each per week. There is a definite Monday and Saturday shift available, plus another half day during the week, and additional hours over summer. Ability to work extra casual shifts to cover sickness and leave would be an advantage.

We need friendly, welcoming fitters who are motivated by giving outstanding customer service, selling quality products, and making a real difference for women.



Tasks and Responsibilities:

-Greeting and welcoming customers

-Booking customers for appointments

-Fitting customers and selling lingerie and swimwear

-Fulfilling website orders

-Responding to customer queries by phone and email

-Hanging stock and keeping the shop tidy and clean

-Communicating with our Christchurch stores by phone and email


The successful applicant will:

-Have a warm, engaging, confident personality and relate well to people on a one-on-one basis

-Have a passion for giving excellent service

-Love selling quality products and have previous sales experience

-Have previous lingerie fitting experience (although training will be given to the right applicant).

-Be a positive and contributing team member

-Learn fast and be able to adapt to a changing environment

-Work well in a busy setting, meeting and managing customer expectations

-Have computer competence
