Dress for Success Hamilton is looking for a superstar Operations and Boutique Coordinator
Are you passionate about empowering women in the Waikato community? Dress for Success Hamilton is on the lookout for a motivated Operations and Boutique Coordinator to join our mission-driven team.
Dress for Success Hamilton is a Hamilton-based charity empowering Waikato women through its free dressing programme and career services. It also operates one of Hamilton’s best quality preloved clothing stores, Rosy, where its profits go back into providing our services.
What You’ll Do:
You’ll be applying for grants and funding, and meeting the deadlines and requirements associated with this. (Experience is not essential, but a willingness to learn is).
Booking in clients to benefit from our services and liaising with referrers.
Overseeing the day-to-day running of the Dress for Success boutique, including a team of dedicated volunteers, dealing with clothing stock and donations for dressings.
Overseeing operations for our retail store Rosy, and regular clothing sale events.
Telling the story of Dress for Success Hamilton, whether it be through client stories, event promotions, calls for action for funding and donations through our social media channels.
Performing general office administration.
About You: You bring a “can-do” attitude, thrive in a small team, and can work with people from all walks of life. With excellent customer service, business operations, and communication skills, you’re eager to make a meaningful impact. You’ll also have experience (or a willingness to learn) in grant writing, managing volunteers, and running a retail space.
Why Join Us? Dress for Success Hamilton is a local charity with a global network, focused on empowering Waikato women through our services. With ambitions to grow our visibility and reach, we’re looking for someone who shares our vision of a world where women live with dignity, respect, and economic independence.
We're seeking someone passionate about helping others, self-motivated, results-driven, and dedicated to improving processes and people.
Position Details:
Permanent part-time role: 30 hours per week.
To apply, please upload your CV and cover letter introducing yourself and explaining why you want this job. The less generic you can make it, the better!
Contact: Questions? Or would like a copy of the PD? Please feel free to email Erin Andersen, Executive Manager, at hamilton@dressforsuccess.org.
Applications close: 5pm, Wednesday 2nd October. However, we'll be contacting candidates as and when they apply, so this role may close sooner if a suitable candidate is found.
Join us and make a difference in the lives of Waikato women!
