Chocolate Brown is a boutique chocolate manufacturer making high quality chocolate products and is the most recent acquistion of Sweet Moments Group.
Sweet Moments Group is a manufacturer & wholesaler of bakery and cake supplies, brands and creative solutions to retail & commercial markets. Our products can be found in leading supermarkets, specialty retailers, food distributors and are used by the greatest cake artists, bakers, food manufacturers & brands from throughout New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific.
About the role
Are you looking for your first job, or employment over the summer break we're looking for a motivated team member to join us at our Warkworth site as we navigate through our busiest time of the year.
Reporting to our Head Chocolatier and Operations Manager, you are someone who can support the team in all areas across the Chocolate Brown site, helping out in our retail shop, packing and general kitchen work.
No experience is required as full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate. The hourly rate will be negotiable based on experience but a willingness to learn is a must.
This is a short-term role, but if you are interested in working for us on a permanent basis helping make our award winning chocolates, please see our other advertisement.
Areas of responsibility:
Take pride in our retail shop, creating a great instore customer experience.
Provide support to packing and dispatch.
Love helping people!
Basic Computer skills
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Compliance with Food Safety regulations and Health and Safety protocols
High level of accuracy in all tasks.
Collaboration and able to work as part of a wider team
Fun, passionate and keen to be part of a great thing!
Hours:
Rostered hours, up to 40 hours a week from labour weekend through to easter - we can work with you, weekends or overtime may be available to the right candidate.
