Position: Hotel Receptionist
Location: Hotel Mountain Heritage and Falls Mountain Retreat
Type: Minimum 20 hours Part-Time or 38 hours a week, Full-time

Pay: in accordance with Level 2 HIGA Award: $24.+8/hour plus 11.5% superannuation + annual leave loading

Nestled in the heart of the stunning Blue Mountains, Hotel Mountain Heritage (Katoomba) and Falls Mountain Retreat (Wentworth Falls) offer a serene escape for our guests. Our hotels are renowned for their exceptional service, breathtaking views, and heritage accommodations.

We believe in creating memorable experiences for our guests and are looking for a friendly and dynamic receptionist to join our team.


Your Role:
As a Hotel Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests. Your welcoming smile and helpful attitude will set the tone for their entire stay. Your responsibilities will include:

Greeting guests with a warm and friendly welcome
Checking guests in and out with efficiency and professionalism
Assisting guests with enquiries and providing local information
Managing reservations and handling phone calls
Coordinating with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Providing exceptional customer service at all times
What We’re Looking For:
We’re on the hunt for someone who is:

Friendly, approachable, and loves interacting with people
Has a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) or willing to obtain (essential)
Drivers Licence to travel between sites if needed
Organised and detail-oriented
Able to multitask and handle busy situations with grace
Experienced in customer service (previous hotel experience is a bonus!)
Proficient with computers and reservation systems
Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
