Content and Marketing Coordinator

We are looking for a fab Marketing and Content Coordinator to join the team! For the right person, we are open to both part time and full time positions.



Who are we?

ESC Rooms is an escape room venue located in Hindmarsh, Adelaide. We have 4 themed rooms as well as a bar. Operating for 4 years, we are a family owned business. We are a young and fun team of 8 staff and pride ourselves on facilitating a fun, positive and encouraging environment. We are looking for someone who can match the energy of our enthusiastic, hard-working and fabulous crew!

The ideal candidate will be someone who can bring a vibrant and personable energy to the team. We are looking for someone who has an itch for creating content that matches the vibe of our business! If you want to gain a wide variety of skills within the marketing/content space - this is the job for you.

As an escape room business, we don’t take ourselves too seriously! Escape rooms are fun, challenging, entertaining and can be a lil silly at times. Most of all – it is about having a good time! We are looking for someone who can emulate this.



Does this sound like you?

- Have a passion for and experience with content creation on Instagram and TikTok. Being an avid consumer of Tik Tok is a must.

- Strong understanding of social media platforms and the type of content that performs on each channel to grow and engage our audience

- You preferably have experience with tools such as Canva, Wordpress and Mail Chimp (not required)

- Uses initiative to think outside the box and are full of ideas to creatively share our story through content

- Have excellent customer service and communication skills

- Eager to work in a fun, social environment with support

- Have an RSA or is willing to get one

- Enjoys escape rooms!!



Expectations of the role:

- Drive growth and engagement on all social media platforms

- Plan, develop and create engaging content on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook

- Comfortable in front of the camera

- Liaise with social influencers and other local businesses to increase social exposure

- Monitoring social media and marketing metrics and analytics to ensure benchmarks are achieved

- Use your creativity and initiative to come up with and run giveaways, promotions and other fun ventures

- Administrative duties

- Responding to all emails and social channels, whether they be enquiries or liaising with customers to organise and facilitate events

- General maintenance of the escape rooms (ordering new props when broken, helping create digital aspects of new props, informing staff of any changes in the rooms)

-Actively involved in any new room build (yes, you get to help brainstorm and create some puzzles!)

- Host Escape Room experiences when needed

- General managerial duties as required



Qualifications:

- Currently undergoing or have completed an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Media or anything of a similar vein is preferred.

- If a candidate does not have a University degree but possesses skills and knowledge in these areas, then we still absolutely welcome these applications.



Hours:

Weekdays will be 11am-7pm or 1pm-+pm - whichever works best with the candidate.

We are open to hiring someone for anywhere between 3-5 days a week. For the right candidate, we will be flexible!

One of those days will be on the weekend, so you can shoot content with staff. Hours/Days are flexible for the weekend shift.
