3 days Per week: Monday-Wednesday
Flexible start and finish times
2 Month temporary contract
Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team and hit the ground running for a 2-month, part time contract. The successful candidate will ideally have experience using Pay Global and MYOB. You will be reporting into the payroll supervisor, working alongside a small, close-knit team pay rolling up to 300 waged team members, so proven experience in a busy and high volume environment is essential.
About the role:
Ensuring weekly pay runs are actioned on time, including any manual/ad hoc pay runs
Ensure actions and payments are processed in accordance with Company Policy, best practice and employment legislation
Ensuring all new starters, resignations, terminations and any other employee change is processed accurately, in a timely manner and with the appropriate supporting documentation
Prepare and maintain all reporting required by other departments, meeting the deadlines provided
Provide customer-focused service and advice in response to routine requests and queries
Leave related queries, maintenance of employee records and details, assist with auditing when required and keep up to date with current employment legislation
If you have:
A thorough understanding of New Zealand employment legislation, a relevant tertiary qualification and demonstrated experience in overseeing and processing Payroll and reconciliation related activities, then we want to hear from you.
As mentioned, you will also have experience working with Pay Global and MYOB, sound report writing skills, and strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
