Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect specializing in Snowflake to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Snowflake architecture, data migration, and optimization, as well as experience with RFPs, RFIs, and project bidding. This role requires a deep understanding of how to lead clients through the migration from on-premises databases to Snowflake, with a focus on cost optimization, performance enhancement, and innovative data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Snowflake Architecture & Implementation:
• Design and architect Snowflake solutions tailored to clients' needs.
• Lead the migration of clients from on-premises databases to Snowflake, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.
• Provide expert guidance on Snowflake best practices, including data modeling, ELT/ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Optimize Snowflake environments for cost and performance, ensuring clients achieve maximum value from their investment.
• Advise on and implement security measures and data governance in Snowflake.
• Client Engagement & Leadership:
• Act as a thought leader and trusted advisor to clients, helping them understand the benefits and value of Snowflake.
• Drive client discussions and workshops to align on architecture design, implementation plans, and expected outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• RFP, RFI, and Project Bidding:
• Lead the technical response to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFIs (Request for Information) related to Snowflake implementations.
• Work closely with sales and business development teams to develop winning proposals and strategies for project bids.
• Present technical solutions to prospective clients and stakeholders, showcasing the advantages and ROI of Snowflake-based solutions.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Snowflake, cloud technologies, and data architecture.
• Explore and implement innovative solutions, including AI/ML integrations, to enhance Snowflake’s capabilities.
• Mentor and guide junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
Qualifications:
• Experience:
• 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, with at least 3 years focused on Snowflake.
• Proven experience in leading large-scale migrations from on-premises databases to Snowflake.
• Demonstrated success in cost optimization, performance tuning, and data strategy within Snowflake environments.
• Strong experience with RFP, RFI processes, and bidding on technical projects.
• Technical Skills:
• Deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, data warehousing, and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in data modeling, SQL, ELT/ETL processes, and data integration tools.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a focus on cloud-native data solutions.
• Experience with AI/ML applications in data management is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of guiding teams and clients through complex projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
