Full Time Delivery Driver

As a DRIVER, your role is to ensure the timely, correct and safe delivery of goods to our customers, whilst portraying and displaying a professional standard when representing Universal Plumbing Supplies Vermont. The job purpose of a Delivery driver is to deliver items by preparing, loading, unloading, operating, cleaning/maintaining company vehicles and maintaining records.

We are looking for a reliable & punctual individual, a professional mannerism and the ability to work both autonomously where required and as a part of a team environment.

Your duties will include the following:

· Driving and operation of a truck, ute, forklift or vehicle to load and unload goods at the warehouse and on site as required

· Accept add-on deliveries required to meet business needs

· Clean and inspect goods to be sure they are in good condition and presentable for delivery to customer

· Communicate with the Store Manager on customer questions and/or issues; prepare driver notes as needed

· Ensure the company vehicles are in good working order, clean and well maintained

· Ensure deliveries are timely and accurate

· When not delivering, driver to assist in warehouse with daily tasks such as but not limited to receiving items from suppliers; stocking shelves and racks; pulling goods for shipping; preparing and packaging orders as required; cleaning of company vehicles and warehouse and assisting trade counter staff where required.

Having a Medium Ridgid License would also come as a advantage.
