Primary Years Teacher
Full-time position commencing Term 1, 2026.

We are currently seeking a talented and highly innovative Primary teacher with a proven ability to operate effectively within a team environment to start from Term 1 2026. The successful applicant must be a dynamic, enthusiastic and collegial educator. They must have a commitment to ensuring students develop strong foundations in literacy and numeracy as well as fostering a love of learning by challenging and supporting every student.

Teachers are required to work collaboratively with parents and each other to provide a supportive environment where students can develop their areas of strength while embracing new and exciting
opportunities. Emphasis is placed on the development of positive relationships and the promotion of sound
values.



This position reports to the Head of Primary and ultimately the Principal.

Key responsibilities:

Create a learning environment that stimulates interest and purposeful learning.
Develop a clear and comprehensive course of instruction that aligns with curriculum objectives as well as progressing the learning of all students.
Develop challenging learning activities.
Actively engage students in the learning process.
Fully utilise a wide variety of teaching resources and technologies available within the school community.
Engage students in assessment and evaluation processes and techniques.
Actively engage with students and their families in relation to student learnings and performance.
Actively engage with pastoral and other co-curricular activities, including rostered supervisory duties around the school grounds.
Other duties as required by the Principal.
Applicants should possess the following:

Accredited 4 years of study at a recognised University or Higher Education institution in relevant
subject/s with a Bachelor of Education (Primary), or a combined or double degree such as a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education (Primary) OR
Undergraduate degree (such as a Bachelor of Primary Education) and an accredited graduate
entry teaching degree (such as a Bachelor of Teaching (Primary) or Master of Teaching (Primary).
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality at the level required of all school staff.
