The company and opportunity:

Our client is private healthcare provider affiliated with Southern Cross providing treatment for varicose veins and vein health, they are based in Remuera.

They are looking for a casual Health Care Assistant to work 1 - 2 days a week. The key to this position is your passion for working with patients to provide a positive caring experience putting patients and ease along with ensuring the service provided is efficient. You will be working with a passionate close knit team.

As a Health Care Assistant, some of your key areas of responsibility will include:

Acting as a chaperone for female clients while undergoing treatment by a male sonographer
Cleaning up all equipment in line with procedural sterilising policy
Cleaning and looking after all the clinic spaces
Taking photographs of patient's leg areas for treatment
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Being able to provide quality care to patients

To be successful in this role:

Effective communication written and verbal
Previous clinical experience
