About the job:
This position is ideal for fluent French speakers with a strong command of English, ready to facilitate effective and culturally sensitive communication between Bengali and English-speaking clients. The Language Interpreter will support diverse professional fields, including customer service, healthcare, and legal contexts, and must be available for a rotating 24/7 schedule, including night shifts. Candidates should be comfortable handling both phone and video interpretations, ensuring accuracy and professionalism in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Real-Time Interpretation: Accurately interpret live conversations between Bengali and English speakers, preserving the message's original tone, context, and cultural nuances.

2. Versatile Support Across Industries: Provide interpretation services across customer service, healthcare, and other fields, while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.

3. Flexible Scheduling: Adhere to a 24/7 rotating schedule, including night shifts, with five working days and two rotational days off.

4. Professionalism and Technical Skill: Use interpretation software and video platforms effectively, maintaining client confidentiality and a professional demeanor.

5. Quality and Ethics: Follow company standards on quality and ethics, ensuring culturally sensitive and accurate translations.

Qualifications

1. French and English Proficiency: fluency in French, with strong English communication skills.

2. Communication Skills: Clear and effective verbal skills, including active listening and accurate message interpretation.

3. Adaptability: Able to handle various professional contexts, including sensitive topics, with care.

4. Technical Proficiency: Competent with video call technology and relevant interpretation tools.

5. Attention to Detail: High focus on maintaining the intent and tone of all conversations.

Compensation

Salary: Up to 10LPA, dependent on experience, last drawn salary, and interview performance.
