Job Description Data Intelligence Engineer
Duties & accountabilities
Build and maintain the data intelligence architecture, which is scalable, flexible, robust, evolving, cost-conscious and catering to the changing technology trends
Design, build and maintain Data Pipelines and embed efficient Engineering ensuring its loosely coupled and focused on data integrity and lineage
Design and build Data Visualizations focus on data security, self-service and intelligible temporal metrics to highlight risks and opportunities
Data Science and Analysis creative analysis to provide actionable insights to improve productivity and reduce risk
Business Development work with business partners to identify how value can be extracted from the data with a focus on self-service and automation
Define and measure key performance metrics, utilizing Data Intelligence
Maintain monthly/quarterly statistics and analysis for Senior Management, external customer stats, business trend analysis andoverall service statistics
Own the reporting output process, includes review and analysis of data output to ensure the data reflects the intended purpose
Creation of product line dashboards and analysisfor internal reporting and functional areas
The wider work includes to consolidate and normalize data from all possible data sources, correlate to find trends and top occurring patterns and tie back to system behaviors to determine fixes and enhancement required to reduce manual efforts
Strong experience in Python or scripting languages. Working knowledge, understanding and ability to write scripts using languages including Shell, Python and Power Shell.
Should be expert in automation i.e. ability to automate the data ingestion, data transformation and aggregation.
knowledge and working experience in Power BI/Tableau. Should have designed the dashboards on Power BI desktop with the latest trending visuals.
Good to have a working knowledge of DAX used in Power BI. Good to have knowledge about DAX studio tool.
Good to be aware of Power BI service i.e. Power BI.com and how the pbix files are deployed/published on different workspaces. Should be knowing creation of Power BI Apps from the reports and how the dataset refreshes are automatically set using gateways.
Good to be aware of how performance insights need to be understood in Power BI and how the improvements can be made using the tools i.e. Vertipaq Analyzer, Power BI helper
Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB/2, MongoDB, DynamoDB
Good knowledge about data modelling, data access, and data storage techniques.
Should understand agile software development processes, data-driven development, and reliability.
Strong communication skills required to be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teammates and stakeholders. Ability to collaborate in multi-functional agile teams
Good to have knowledge about cloud environments (AWS, Azure)

Bachelors degree required
Overall Experience: 6-8 years
Data Intelligence: 3-4 Years
Development & Support: 2-3 years Strong Python(or other scripting languages) skills Strong SQLskills Cloud Services Strong in AWS, Azure Power BI or any other BI tool experience
Working knowledge of cloud technologies (Blob/flat file processing)
