Our Opportunity

Retention Specialists are responsible for providing customer service to promote and deliver retention initiatives.

The primary objective of this position is to engage and communicate with customers to build and maintain strong client relationships, increase loyalty, add value, retain business, and ensure customer satisfaction.

As a Retention Specialist, you will work towards a resolution pathway that results in retaining cover by educating clients, offering limited advice, problem solving and advocating for their needs.

This is a Customer-facing, phone-based role (including both inbound and outbound phone calls). The position involves coordination of tasks between teams, which can include a component of key administration tasks for our customers.

Key Accountabilities

Develop and maintain good relationships with internal and external customers
Ensure accurate and timely completion of team administration procedures
Ensure customer queries are answered in a timely and accurate manner
Have an in-depth understanding of insurance and keep up to date with Partners Life products and processes

Skills, knowledge and experience

Previous experience in one or more of the following:

Be confident in receiving inbound calls and making outbound calls - this is essential in this phone based role.
Previous call centre or insurance experience is essential
Administration
Data entry
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication and people skills
Open to new ideas and information
Energy and enthusiasm for Partners Life
