Job Title: Senior Quality Analyst/Engineer

About Us: Join the Quality Engineering team responsible for ensuring a seamless experience for Hilton Honors app users worldwide. As part of this team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the high quality of our iOS and Android apps by executing thorough mobile regression testing, identifying potential defects before they impact our valued customers. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating with development and quality teams to enhance the mobile experience for millions of travelers.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct hands-on manual testing for both iOS and Android platforms, focusing on regression testing in a native mobile application architecture.
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects and document detailed test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Write clear, detailed bug reports with actionable information for troubleshooting, including steps to reproduce, screenshots, and videos.
• Utilize debugging tools such as Charles Proxy or Postman to test APIs, capture network traffic, and analyze data for potential issues.
• Read and analyze error logs and use monitoring tools to investigate and resolve issues.
• Collaborate effectively with development teams and stakeholders through excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adapt quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced, agile environment, managing multiple priorities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in hands-on manual mobile app testing for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct exploratory testing.
• Proficiency in writing detailed bug reports and documenting test cases.
• Experience with debugging tools such as Charles Proxy or Postman.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to overlap some working hours during US work time zones.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with no-code or low-code automation tools (e.g., Appium, Test Project).
• Prior experience testing digital payments or mobile wallet solutions.
• Understanding of version control processes, including PR reviews and branch merging.
