Must have valid driver’s license
Bachelor degree and/or Master’s degree
Experience with specialized software or datasets, as required by the supervisor
Academic and/or work experience related to the field of research
Knowledge of research methods
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent time management skills
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
No unusual physical requirements
Requires limited lifting of files and records and nearly all work is performed in a comfortable indoor facility

Provides support and assistance to the research program to facilitate research activities in a specific area of discipline
Assists professors and/or students with agricultural related research projects
Operates lab equipment
Conducts agricultural related literature reviews
Collects and analyzes experimental data
Provides ready access to all experimental data for the faculty researcher and/or supervisor
Requests or acquires equipment or supplies necessary for the project
Prepares research reports, and presentations
Performs related duties as assigned
Job frequently requires walking, sitting, reaching, talking, hearing, handling objects with hands

The Coastal Research and Extension Center is located in Biloxi, MS and is the 'southern exposure' of Mississippi State University.
