Prototype Technician

Job description
A specialist Display Equipment Manufacturer is actively seeking a Prototype Technician to become an integral part of their production team.

In this role, you ll be at the forefront of innovation, transforming ideas into tangible, one-of-a-kind prototype products that pave the way for finished designs.
• Up to £38k, Working days Monday to Friday with early finish Friday, 23+8 days holiday, bonus

As a Prototype Technician, Your Duties Will Include
• Build and fabricate unique prototypes using various materials and manufacturing techniques
• Interpret and work from CAD drawings and visual designs
• Develop and produce production-ready drawings

To be successful in the role of prototype Technician, the ideal candidate will have:
• Versatile hands-on skills in machining, fabrication, metalwork, joinery, welding, and more
• Proficiency with hand tools
• Relevant experience in industries like Point of Sale/Retail Display, model-making, signage, exhibition stands, or similar fields
• Familiarity with CAD systems and engineering drawings
