Key Responsibilities:

Design Development Support:
• Assist the Lead Designer in creating and developing designs for sarees, lehengas, anarkalis, shararas, kurtas, and fusion wear.
• Contribute ideas to seasonal collections while ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and current fashion trends.

Silhouette and Construction Assistance:
• Support in refining garment silhouettes and ensuring the desired fit and style are achieved.
• Assist in overseeing the garment construction process, from sketches to final products, maintaining high-quality standards.

Sampling Execution:
• Execute the sampling process under the direction of the Senior Designer, ensuring samples meet design and quality expectations.

Creative Presentation:
• Create mood boards for seasonal collections and design presentations for client meetings.
• Arrange collections for client meetings and internal reviews.

Pattern Making:
• Help develop accurate patterns for different garment types, ensuring precise measurements and fit.
• Collaborate with sampling and production teams to ensure accurate pattern execution.

Embroidery Design:
• Assist in designing intricate embroidery patterns that enhance the garment’s appeal.
• Work with artisans and vendors to ensure high-quality embroidery craftsmanship.

Print Development:
• Contribute to the creation of digital and foil print designs that enhance the overall collection.
• Coordinate with printing partners to ensure accurate print reproduction.

Detailed Documentation:
• Maintain detailed cost sheets, range sheets, and fabric, trim, and embroidery swatch cards for seasonal collections.
• Create cost sheets under the guidance of the Senior Designer.

Trend Research and Analysis:
• Stay updated with emerging fashion trends, fabrics, and market demands.
• Conduct research to support new design opportunities and innovative techniques.

Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with the design, production, and merchandising teams to ensure seamless collaboration and timely product launches.
• Assist in mentoring junior designers and interns, fostering a creative and supportive team environment.

Quality Control:
• Assist in maintaining high standards of quality control throughout the design and production process, ensuring all final products meet brand expectations.

Fittings and Alterations:
• Assist with fittings and alterations for campaign and lookbook shoots, ensuring garments are styled and fit to perfection.

Specific Qualifications:
• 3-4 years of experience in fashion design, specifically in women’s Indian clothing.
• Worked with Fashion Houses and Designers.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Strong expertise in silhouette design, garment construction, and pattern making.
• Proficient in embroidery design and creating digital and foil prints.
• Understanding of fabric properties and their application in Indian wear.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, and MS Office.
• Strong sketching and illustration skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English and Hindi
• A strong portfolio showcasing design expertise and creativity in women's Indian clothing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
