YouTube Content Researcher | Scriptwriter

Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate YouTube Content Researcher to join our team. The ideal candidate should have an in-depth understanding of internet culture, trends, controversies, and online drama. You will be responsible for conducting detailed research to help craft engaging, fact-based content for our YouTube channel. This role requires creativity, strong research skills, and a knack for storytelling to ensure our videos captivate our audience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough research on trending topics, internet controversies, and online culture.
• Develop content ideas and concepts aligned with our channel’s theme and audience interests.
• Verify facts and gather credible sources, references, and visual assets for video scripts.
• Stay updated on internet trends, viral stories, and relevant news to identify potential content opportunities.
• Collaborate with scriptwriters, video editors, and the creative team to ensure content accuracy and flow.
• Create and maintain a research database for recurring themes or series.
• Monitor competitor channels to understand the landscape and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in content research, preferably for YouTube or online platforms.
• Strong understanding of internet culture, trends, memes, and online drama.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to find and verify credible sources for information.
• Experience using online tools, forums (e.g., Reddit, Twitter, Discord), and archives to conduct research.
• Familiarity with YouTube SEO and content trends is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for storytelling and a creative mindset.

Preferred Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role for a YouTube channel or digital media platform.
• Knowledge of video production processes and how research integrates with scripting and editing.
• Background in journalism, creative writing, or media studies is advantageous.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹4+,248.12 per month
