Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver comprehensive and engaging History lessons for senior secondary students (Grades 11 & 12).
• Develop lesson plans aligned with the curriculum, focusing on critical thinking and historical analysis.
• Assess student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages inquiry, discussion, and appreciation of historical events and cultures.
• Organize history-related activities, such as debates, quizzes, and exhibitions, to enhance student engagement.
• Stay updated on advancements in historical scholarship and integrate them into teaching.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote interdisciplinary learning and overall student development.
Requirements:
• Postgraduate degree in History or a related field (MA History or equivalent).
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong command of subject knowledge and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in using technology for teaching and learning purposes.
