Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Job Area: Greater Glasgow
Job Salary: £40k-£55k

Your new company is a forward-thinking organisation of consulting engineers with over decades of experience. They specialise in building services and provide a first-class service across various industry sectors including Healthcare, Residential, and Commercial.
This organisation is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with industry experience to join their Glasgow office. The company has a low staff turnover rate and offers the opportunity to work on high-end multi-million pound projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of mechanical services scope of work across multiple projects as part of a world-class Building Services design team.
Carry out any or all stages of mechanical design from concept to completion as required by the project.
Lead the preparation of enquiries for potential major projects.
Lead an M&E design team where required.
Report on project performance to principal engineer.
CARRY OUT TECHNICAL DESIGN REVIEWS/CRITIQUES OF PROJECTS IN PROGRESS.
SUPPORT THE DESIGN PLANNING, RESOURCING AND FEE PLANNING OF SPECIFIC PROJECT TEAMS.
GATHER AND CORRELATE BASIC ENGINEERING DATA USING ESTABLISHED AND WELL-DEFINED PROCEDURES.
WORK ON DETAILED OR ROUTINE ENGINEERING ASSIGNMENTS INVOLVING CALCULATIONS AND RELATIVELY SIMPLE TESTS.
