Global Financial Services Firm is hiring for a C#.NET Software Engineer with a background in Algorithmic Trading and Commodities / Energy Trading. This is a 6 month Contract based in London on a hybrid basis. Rates are between £600 - £750 per day Inside IR35.

You will be involved in software engineering best practices, delivering software products and applications. The environment covers TWAP and VWAP algorithms, so experience of these would be an added benefit.

Technical Skills include:
• C#.NET
• Front Office Algo trading expertise (ideally strategy implementation)
• Multithreading and low-latency
• Asynchronous messaging
• 12-17 years software development experience (Front End, Back End, Orchestration, Cloud)
• Solid experience in .NET and .NET Core (Web, API, Windows, Services) with Azure platform development
• CI/CD tools
• Deep experience in Data Development

Desirable Skills include:
• Working knowledge of the Commodities Trading Business and Wholesale Energy Markets
• UI experience
• Market making knowledge
• Cloud experience
• ETRM expertise
• C++ / Python / Golang
