Work from home, UK client, Full-time Software Development Project Manager Position

This role is for a substantial, fast-growing and well respected UK Secure Digital Communication Service Provider firm who has hired us to exclusively recruit for them. It is a permanent Work From Home position and everyday you'll be working directly as part of their UK team. It is a senior role with real opportunity ie to learn and develop.

Location: Permanent Remote Work from Home in India

Experience: 5+ years

Shift Timings: 12pm - +:30pm (Summer), 1pm - 10:30pm (Winter)

Roles and responsibilities
• Project Planning and Management
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Track and communicate project progress, identifying risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities to optimize.
• Stakeholder Communication
• Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Provide regular updates on project status, key milestones, and deliverables.
• Conduct project meetings and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Team Coordination and Leadership
• Oversee and coordinate the work of software developers, designers, QA, and other project contributors.
• Foster collaboration and maintain team motivation through effective communication and leadership.
• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles affecting team productivity and project success.
• Quality Assurance and Risk Management
• Implement quality control processes and testing protocols to ensure deliverables meet company standards.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks to project scope, budget, and timeline.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations, ensuring data privacy and security requirements are met.
• Continuous Improvement
• Implement agile and/or hybrid project management methodologies where appropriate to streamline processes.
• Analyze project performance and conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and best practices.
• Propose and lead initiatives to improve software development processes, methodologies, and team efficiencies.

Required Skills and Experience

Essential Skills:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software project management or a related role.
• Proven experience managing software development projects, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience with agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban)
• Familiarity with DevOps
• Proficiency in project management software (Jira or Asana or MS Project).
• Solid understanding of software development processes, from design and development to deployment and maintenance.

Desired Experience and Skills:
• Familiarity with coding languages ​​(eg, Swift, Kotlin, Node.js, JavaScript) and technologies (eg, APIs, cloud services) is beneficial.
