Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Leader in Capital Markets to join our team at our Calgary location. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing capital raising efforts through equity and debt financing to support our renewable energy projects and corporate development initiatives. In this role, the Head of Capital Markets is responsible for identifying and establishing contact with potential investors, family offices, and institutional and sovereign wealth funds.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead capital raising efforts through equity and debt financing.
• Support utility-scale renewable energy projects, including solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and green data centers.
• Drive corporate development initiatives and manage M&A activities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure funding and investment opportunities.
• Analyze market trends and financial data to inform strategic decisions.
• Prepare and present financial models, investment proposals, and reports to senior management and investors.
• Conduct presentations to Family Offices, Portfolio Managers, Institutions, and distribution partners.
• Provide support and service to an existing client base to maximize client satisfaction.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of all deals, structures, and services (products).
• Develop collateral, marketing materials, and other resources.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in capital markets, investment analysis, and financial modeling.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy projects and infrastructure.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with corporate development and M&A activities.

Compliance:
• Represent institutional investments in a professional and compliant manner.
• Comply with securities legislation and adhere to policies and procedures in local markets, including licensing.
• Ensure maintenance of appropriate documentation.
• Complete and submit appropriate expenses based on company guidelines and timelines.
• Use available tools, technology, and systems to work efficiently.

Professional Development:
• Maintain and continuously develop knowledge of sales, products, and compliance/regulatory matters.
• Participate in professional development sessions and complete any associated online/independent study requirements.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the financial services industry.
• Strong business and/or sales networks in institutional, portfolio management, or Family Office markets.
• Ability and willingness to travel.
• Demonstrated ability in meeting sales objectives and goals.
• Advanced level of relationship management and interpersonal skills and the ability to strategically and ethically leverage client relationships.
• Possess and maintain strong market knowledge to provide comprehensive service to clients, develop new solutions, and construct compelling recommendations.
• Professional, strategic, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and performance-driven.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and account management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in modern tech and full enterprise Office Suite.
• Ability to produce results with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record in meeting sales targets and achieving sales goals.
• Adherence to compliance and company policies and procedures in previous positions.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with utility-scale renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and green data centers.
• Familiarity with equity and debt financing processes.
• Previous experience in a high-demand, high-reliability environment.
