Job Description

Carpentry Tutor

South Taranaki based
Full-time (36 hours per week), fixed-term (06 Jan 2026 until Dec 2026) position
About the role:

This position is to deliver the Level 3 Construction Carpentry programme in collaboration with Ōkahu Inuawāi hapū in South Taranaki.

About you:

You will have

A relevant qualification - National or Trade Certificate in Carpentry
Recent practical carpentry industry experience
A LBP license - carpentry
Digital literacy
The ability to work effectively in a team environment
Previous academic experience would be an advantage but is not required. We will fully support you if you don't have any prior teaching experience.
