SUSPENDED CEILING INSTALLER

We seek an experienced, skilled installer to join our team at East Coast Suspended Ceilings. Our family-owned business has proudly served Hawkes Bay for 24 years, prioritizing a healthy work-life balance for employees to enjoy with family and friends.

Our preference is to employ someone experienced and/or qualified who can work independently, outputting high-quality installations.



The position includes:

• Installing 2-way exposed grid suspended ceilings & seismic bracing

• Installing acoustics and feature ceilings

• Installing metal batten systems and bulkheads

• Installing insulation and acoustics into our ceilings

• Installing Gib board

• Installing steel stud and aluminium partitioning

• Other construction and related work as needed



Ideally, the person will possess the following attributes:

• Physically fit and strong

• A driver's license (minimum restricted)

• Good communication and numerical skills

• A great can-do attitude

• Able to read plans and instructions to complete jobs independently

• Able to carry out occasional out-of-town, evening, or weekend work
