Part|Time Production Scheduling Assistant

As Part-time Production Scheduling Assistant you will be responsible for working alongside the Production Scheduler to ensure documentation and administrative needs are effectively being met in our Machined Core Department. Having a strong attention to detail and ability to navigate computer systems will be the primary goal of this role.

Flexible set schedule 20-30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform scheduling function, working with Customer Service and Supervisors.
• Assist Scheduler in processing and creating work orders in the ERP system as well as other day-to day projects as required.
• Prepare work order packets with all the required paperwork for manufacturing.
• Provide scheduling and inventory assistance.
• Maintain accurate record retention of completed work orders.
• Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality and Delivery by being efficient, productive and careful.
• Participate in improving our product, processes equipment and methods.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Handle internal and external questions in a prompt, professional manner.
• Continually looks for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.
• Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED Preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work overtime
• Mechanically inclined
