Senior SDE in Testing

ZEDEDA is an exciting start-up company and leading solution provider for distributed edge orchestration. ZEDEDA enables full-stack remote management and observability for any distributed edge computing hardware and applications at scale while connecting to any cloud or on-premises system. Based in San Jose, CA, USA, it has offices in Bangalore, KA, India and Pune, MH, India. ZEDEDA is also pioneering the effort to drive standardization in Edge Computing field through Edge Virtualization Engine (EVE) project under Linux Foundation Edge (LF-Edge) open source umbrella.

We are looking for highly motivated strong Python programmers for ZEDEDA Customer Solutions team. You will represent customers and how they will use ZEDEDA Edge Virtualization solution inside ZEDEDA.

Number of positions: 3

Job Duties:

Work closely with the EVE and EV-X developers and develop end-to-end solution testing framework that will cover typical use cases that a customer will follow to use ZEDEDA Edge Virtualization solution. Enable Zededa customers by creating Proof of Concept test beds and validating specific customer workflows. Solution testing will cover from user agents (UI / CLI) to Cloud controller (EV-X) and Edge devices (EVE).

Required Skills:
• 5-6 years developing complex Python scripts
• Networking experience
• Scripting experience with both Cloud controller and Edge device
• Great communication skills, both verbal and written.

Additional Qualifications:
• Experience with Proof of Concept deployment with customers is an added plus
• Degree in Engineering or MCA is preferred.
