Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience
Minimum Experience
3+ years in Java 1.8+ development role
1+ years of experience working with Apache Camel, Kafka, ElasticSearch or similar systems
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming
Strong knowledge of web service models: SOAP, OData, REST
Strong knowledge of GIT
Strong knowledge of Apache Maven
Knowledge of object-oriented programming
Solid understanding of Web Development: HTML5 and Angular JS or similar JavaScript libraries
Knowledge of web service models: SOAP, OData, REST
Knowledge of Javascript and JQuery
Solid understanding of testing principles, methodologies, tools, and processes
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload

Responsibilities
The Software Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and identifying improvements by planning, implementing, and monitoring software framework solutions
Execute product specification, system design, development and system integration
Develop new product concepts and development, deliver product prototypes
Conduct new technology research, concept specification and design of individual software components
Participate in product and program collaboration
Refactor implementations to standardize on an event driven architecture
Refactor web application and services to be completely stateless and cloud ready
Maintain, configure and improve integration with COTS platforms
Troubleshoot and fix problems and provide root cause analysis in a timely manner
Complete other tasks as required
