Qualifications
Qualifications: Masters (1-2 years of relevant experience) in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related technical discipline
Proficient in a programming language used for data processing, analysis, and visualization such as Python and R. Ability to learn and work collaboratively on GitHub
Hands-on experience with Nextflow
Experience in implementing bioinformatics pipelines and data structures/objects Hands-on experience applying computational algorithms and statistical methods to structured and unstructured big data
Strong Computer Science fundamentals Think independently and also contribute to an active intellectual environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills

POSITION OVERVIEW : Key Responsibilities: Write production-ready code for bioinformatics algorithms, pipelines, visualizations, and data reporting
Processing public omics datasets through customized pipelines and implementing ML algorithms to structured data
Work with internal and external scientists to productize their work, build reusable packages Innovate and implement new tools and pipelines, and improve existing pipelines and algorithms for different types of biological data analysis and visualization
Identify valuable data sources and automate data ingestion
