Laborer II |Helper

Qualifications
• High school diploma, GED, or sufficient education and experience to perform the duties of the position
• Verified proof of successful work experience in the area of logistics is preferred
• Possess and maintain valid Alabama driver's license and MPS insurable driving record required
• Subject to drug screening within Board policy

Essential Duties
• Regular and punctual attendance required
• Preparation and deliver custodial and cafeteria materials and supplies as assigned
• Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment in the shipping and receiving areas as directed
• Inspect, service and operate delivery trucks, other system-owned vehicles as assigned
• Enter and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment for schools as requested
• Prepare monthly reports, file reports, answer and direct phone calls as directed
• Account for and issue instructional materials as assigned
• Maintain accurate inventory records on all equipment and supplies housed in the warehouse
• Receive, inventory, label, stock, pack and deliver textbooks as assigned
• Receive and ship supplies as requested
