Efficient Innovations is looking for an experienced design engineer with product development experience in the cosmetic or multi component plastic assemblies . A strong understanding of mechanical design, user

needs identification and product development with previous experience working on products design is required. This opportunity is to be the design engineer for product vertical within a rapidly growing services

and manufacturing organization.

REQUISITES & SKILLS

Knowledge of solidworks (mandatory as we use this for designing)

Legacy conversion (2D to 3D) Reverse & Re-engineering.

Knowledge of moulds and mould design would be a plus Designing & Detailing.

Detailed manufacturing design. Value engineering & analysis.

Knowledge of rapid prototyping (usage of 3D printer etc) would be a plus

Great computational and spatial ability Excellent oral and written communication

Technology transfer & Good understanding of tolerances and stack-up analysis of a design/assembly

Ability to present in front of stakeholders and managers

Layout support.

EDUCATION & ELIGIBILITY

Mechanical/Tool & Die/Polymer Engineer with relevant background in design.

2 to 4 years of Experience in required domain. (Minimum 2yrs in design of plastic parts)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating with the technical and management aspects of projects.

As a designer you will be responsible for design of plastic parts and ensure DFM, create 2d drawings, create KLD - all in Solidworks software only.

You will also be responsible for bringing improvements in existing products and processes if and when needed.

You will be stationed at our Andheri office. However, since you will work closely with the factory team, you will have to visit factory (Virar) from time to time as and when needed.

For innovation projects you will be responsible for research and ideation.

Maintaining record of changes and revisions for all designs will be your prime responsibility.

You may also be involved in design of non plastic parts like fixtures or other parts as per requirement.

Other responsibilities

Write detailed reports & creative design solutions to problems

Present prototypes and designs to customers and project managers

Use of general software like Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

WORKING CONDITIONS POSITION Fulltime

WORK TIME / SHIFTS 0+:00 am to 05:30 pm

General Shift (Inc alternate monthly Saturdays off)

SALARY 3 LPA to 5 LPA

Education

UG:

B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Diploma in Mechanical, Engineering

PG:

M.Des. in Design For Retail Experience, PG Diploma in Mechanical, M.Tech in Mechanical, MS/M.Sc(Science) in Mechanical Engineering
