job summary:

For this contractor assignment, as an IT Apps Programmer Sr. on our Property Centralized Forms team, you'll be responsible for validating software changes based on project requirements. You'll conduct unit testing of code and verify that systems or applications are functioning properly. Projects will range from stand-alone applications to applications spanning various departments and locations.

responsibilities:

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
• Review requirements specified by the Business System consultant specific for Forms in Property IT
• Attend daily team meetings
• Apply code changes meeting the requirements
• Thorough development testing of the code changes
• Write Unit testing (Mocked up test scripts) in the code base

Required skills:
• strong experience in Crystal Reports C# .net SQL Server ADO VB, .NET

Preferred skills and experiences: Experience with APIs Prior experience at an insurance company

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum four years of related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
• In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of four years related work experience.
• In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher and a minimum of six years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
