Job Location - Goregaon East , Mumbai

EXPERIENCE

4-6 years of Experience in Merchant Banking with exposure to the IPO transactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for execution of Merchant Banking transaction

Business/ Operational/ Functional/ Financial Perspective

•Identification of opportunities, leading the sales pitch and securing the mandate for IPOs/FPOs, NCD’s, Takeover, Delisting, Buyback & Advisory services, Issue selling etc.

•Handling entire transaction covering preliminary evaluation, identification of value drivers, preparation of sale document, negotiations, managing client expectation.

•Ensuring statutory compliance of companies (our clients) including SEBI regulations, company law, listing agreement, corporate governance, FEMA and other related laws and regulations

•Interfacing SEBI, FIs, RBI, Stock Exchanges, for matters related to statutory and other approvals and compliance of statutory requirements fund raising activities

•Business Proposal Screening, detailed due diligence of the project, and responsible for working out the financial projections and valuation

Customer Perspective(Internal/External Responsiveness)

•Constantly maintain customer relations and ensures smooth relations to key accounts.

•Focus on existing and prospective clients along with tapping new Clients

•Ensuring statutory compliance interfacing with statutory authorities

Representative Functions

•Represent the company as the 'Brand Ambassador' of SMC at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company

•Brand Building for the Investment Banking business of SMC Group and ensure correct brand positioning for the Company in the Market.

IT SKILLS

•Good knowledge about MS Office

•Fluent in making Power point presentations

SPECIFIC SKILLS

•Familiarity with various research/database platforms such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Merger Market, Reuters, Facts etc.

• Data mining & analysis, Knowledge of corporate accounting, preparation of financial projections & valuation models, Flair for writing and presentation.

• Familiarity with accounting standards and ability to do due diligence on financial disclosures in IPO transaction
