Human Resources Intern (Part-time, Work-from-Home)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with people, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. As a Human Resources Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the HR department in various areas, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
• Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientations, and coordinating training sessions.
• Manage employee files and maintain accurate HR records.
• Assist with employee relations matters, including investigating and resolving employee complaints and conducting exit interviews.
• Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations and ensure compliance with state and central laws.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that HR policies and practices are aligned with the company's goals and culture.
• Assist with other HR projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 6 months of experience in human resources, with a focus on recruitment and benefits administration.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records.
• Knowledge of HR policies and procedures, as well as state and central employment laws and regulations.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Experience using HR software or applicant tracking systems is a plus.
