Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements
Skilled in using various tools and equipment for maintenance and repair tasks
Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Good communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities
Job Overview: A Building Maintenance Technician with a specialization in plumbing is responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure that buildings residential and commercial, equipment, and systems remain in excellent working order
They are essential in maintaining the safety, efficiency, and appearance of the facility
Service plumbing needs for commercial, retail, and light industrial properties
Perform common jobs including rodding/video scoping, water heater repairs, leak investigation and repair, RPZ check and repair, and installation/repair of fixtures
Troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently and provide detailed notes and reports
Perform routine maintenance of plumbing systems
Review electronic work orders daily via smartphone to prepare for scheduled sites and required tasks
Document all work performed and inventory used in the work order system
Ensure the vehicle is restocked with required inventory regularly
Flex in on other building services work orders as needed, within the different trades we service
Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
