Primary Responsibilities
• Architect/Design a well-informed Cloud strategy and guide the engineering team in execution and adaptation of process.
• Partner with business executives and functional leaders in understanding requirements and translate these requirements into designs.
• Collaborate on integration patterns with development teams for both batch and real-time data movement.
• Maintain an ongoing awareness of emerging technology and industry trends, to inform technical domain strategy and direction.
• Enterprise-level data modeling and information classification expertise.
• Familiarize, evaluate and recommend cloud architecture solutions to meet the strategic needs of the company.
• Regularly evaluate Cloud resources and optimize how the cloud resources are being utilized and managed.
• Improve the security posture of the application.
• Lead, mentor, pair with software engineers of diverse backgrounds to write clean code.
• Mentor the engineering team to implement best practices in development.
• Architect/Design/Enhance existing Asset Panda SaaS platform including but not limited to
• Custom Asset definition
• Custom Asset lifecycle creation, automation and execution

Job Requirements

THE CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
• 2+ years of experience as an Architect - leading the technical architecture of a Cloud based, Multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• 10+ years of experience with Software Development using Javascript/NodeJS. Experience with Typescript will be nice to have.
• Experience working with AWS.
• Proven capability to architect and implement distributed systems based on serverless technology and/or microservices architecture. Knowledge of event-driven programming is a major plus.
• Strong experience with Key-Value Datastores(DynamoDB).
• Strong experience with GraphQL and REST
• Strong experience with Elasticsearch or Opensearch.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools, with a specific emphasis on using AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)
• Ability to work in a team environment and with globally distributed teams.
• Guide development in responding to technical challenges in a timely manner.
