Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor

Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm
Friday 7am - 1pm
GBP30,000 - GBP34,000 depending on experience
Permanent role

Vanta Staffing High Wycombe are searching for a Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor to work for a leading engineering and manufacturing company based just outside of High Wycombe.

The main responsibilities of the Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor are:
· Goods in Management - oversea the receipts, inspection and storage of incoming goods. Ensure materials are logged accurately into the system and accompanied by the regulatory documentation.
· Material cutting and stock optimisation - calculate and plan material cuts with the use of the in-house system to minimise waste, ensuring resources are used effectively.
· Order fulfilment and stock booking - ensure stock bound for customers is booked out and dispatched on time with supporting regulatory documentation, coordinating with production and shipping teams to meet delivery deadlines.
· Systems management - manage warehouse systems to track stock, maintain inventory accuracy and generate reports. Troubleshoot system issues as they arise.
· Team Leadership - supervise, train and motivate the warehouse team to maintain high performance and ensure safety and efficiency across all operations.
The key requirements of the Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor are:
· Proven experience in warehouse/logistics management (ideally in manufacturing or distribution).
· Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP and inventory control systems.
· Experience with goods receipts, traceability, material cutting and stock booking.
· Strong organisational and leadership skills with a passion for meeting deadlines.
· Excellent attention to detail and problem solving ability.
· Engineering background would be an advantage.
