Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited professional program
Licensed by the State of Florida
Must hold current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to start date and maintain
Demonstrates ability to conduct meetings and speak in front of groups
Demonstrates an understanding of Health Care Administration, including care trends and reimbursement issues
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and organize to maximize quality, value, and service
Responsibilities
The Rehab Supervisor is responsible and accountable for providing Quality / No Harm, Customer Experience, and Stewardship by providing exceptional healthcare in a customer friendly environment while managing resources through a team approach
The individual is expected to understand and respond positively to changes present in the health care environment
Provides for staff development through mentoring, continuing education, advancement of responsibilities and peer education as appropriate
Achieves scores on the Gallup associate opinion survey reflecting either the top quartile as compared to the Gallup database or above the mean score of the Health First overall aggregate
Ensures that documentation meets established standards throughout the area by reviewing records on a regular basis and carrying out appropriate education and counseling of staff members to correct deficiencies
Participates in identifying and defining opportunities for improving departmental performance, educating staff with regard to such opportunities, and gathering data for monitoring progress
Promotes the Rehab Services department and personal professional development by involvement in hospital, committee, professional association and/or community activities
Participates in direct patient care as determined by clinic demand and availability
Collaborates with other managers/supervisors to identify and resolve problems, coordinate staffing and maximize departmental effectiveness
Contributes to the development of annual budget for area, and achieves financial performance with volume adjusted budget

Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited professional program
• Masters degree preferred and a minimum of 3 years experience
• Licensed by the State of Florida
• Must hold current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to start date and maintain.
• Demonstrates ability to conduct meetings and speak in front of groups.
• Demonstrates an understanding of Health Care Administration, including care trends and reimbursement issues.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
