Responsibilities
Hours: 12-hr shifts; schedule is based on department needs
The Psych Tech/CNA provides basic nursing services for patients as delegated by and under the direct supervision of the RN
Contributes to the delivery of patient treatment by providing, personal hygiene, comfort, safety, protection, and facilitates treatment programming
Provides physical and emotional comfort and safety for patient
Leads Program Therapy Groups and reports patient status and goals for the day to the Treatment Team
Accompanies patients (as assigned) to Program groups and meetings
Facilitates Wrap-Up Group and Relaxation Exercises at the end of each patient day
Assists patient in caring for daily hygienic needs, such as bathing, mouth and teeth care, and bowel and bladder habits
While different positions have different primary areas of responsibility, everyone needs to work as a team, and we expect all employees to roll up their sleeves and pitch in as necessary to get the job done

Position Summary:

Primary (Essential) Duties:
• Provides physical and emotional comfort and safety for patient.
