Qualifications
Responsible for project management duties on a regular basis and must have ability to work independently and with a high degree of critical thinking and anticipation of needs and priorities
High School diploma or GED + two years education/training involving Administrative Assistant courses
A minimum of three (3) years of Administrative Assistant experience
Familiar with medical terminology
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) software applications & Outlook
Job Candidates must be able to achieve established minimum score on the current Catholic Health Administrative Assistant skills assessment test in order to be eligible for employment in this job position
Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
Ability to organize/prioritize multiple responsibilities
Ability to work with little or no supervision
Knowledge of standard office equipment (fax, copier, printer)
Ability to work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines with patience and flexibility
Demonstrates strong ability to maintain and deal with confidential data and issues
Good judgment and diplomacy in being able to relate to all organizational levels
Ability to independently prepare reports, minutes and correspondence
Able to drive to various Catholic Health locations
Normal office environment
Extensive time with sitting and typing

Summary:
Position is responsible for providing direct administrative support to the Vice President of Clinical Education and Professional Development and related departments as needed. Duties include daily administrative tasks, timely follow-up, scheduling and maintaining the flow of information for the effective functioning of the division. The position requires multi-tasking activities with changing priorities at a high level of important and confidential Catholic Health matters and issues. Responsibilities:

EDUCATION
• High School diploma or GED + two years education/training involving Administrative Assistant courses
• AAS degree preferred

EXPERIENCE
• A minimum of three (3) years of Administrative Assistant experience
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Familiar with medical terminology

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) software applications & Outlook.
