Job description
We are hiring a proficient Senior JavaScript Automation Tester to join our dynamic team. As a JavaScript Automation Tester, you will be a key contributor to our Test Automation efforts, utilizing your expertise in JavaScript and Automation Testing. Your responsibilities will include contributing to Test Automation creation, improving existing solutions, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. Responsibilities Contribute to Test Automation creation based on existing solution (JavaScript) Explore existing solution and introduce improvements Onboard new Test automation engineers Coordinate work of TA team, provide mentorship Closely cooperate with joint Test Automation teams from customers’ and 3rd party vendor side Work with QA Managers to align with prioritization and strategic approaches Test Automation Framework development and maintenance Port over existing tests to new solution and restructuring them Build stable integration test package Fill in gaps in test coverage and add new scenarios Work closely with the Business Analyst and Development team in order to deliver the tasks in time and with the expected quality Bring ideas regarding test / code design Requirements Minimum experience in Automation Testing 5- 8 years. Relevant experience in JavaScript should be minimum 2.5 to 3 years. Hands on experience on Protractor or Mocha or Chai or Jest or Puppeteer or Cypress Should have experience on JavaScript, Typescript, UI Automation, Web driver I/O. Hands on experience on API Automation, Test Strategy, Writing test cases and on Test Automation framework Technologies Protractor or Mocha or Chai or Jest or Puppeteer or Cypress JavaScript Typescript UI automation Web driver I/O API testing

Operation Sports is a leading news and content provider focused on the sports video games industry. Founded and operated by experienced sports video games industry veterans, the site has long been considered the premier destination for the hardcore sports game. The Operation Sports team is now looking to add more passionate sports gaming writers to the team to provide comprehensive guides, news, and feature coverage on some of the most popular franchises in the genre. This is a fully remote position.

Working with Operation Sports is a great opportunity to cover your favorite sports games, from the EA FC and NBA 2K franchises through to racing games and College Football. Applicants should be motivated self-starters with an attention to detail.

We're looking for candidates who understand the Operation Sports brand and have expert knowledge of any of the franchises listed below (if you're an expert on another sports game, please specify). A writing sample on one of these franchises is required to be considered for the role.

Responsibilities:
• Help cover the latest new releases in the sports and racing genres with detailed guides and news covering gameplay mechanics, features, and frequently asked questions
• Regularly update evergreen content
• Submit clean copy with minimal edits
• Meet deadlines for publishing stories
• React to trending topics quickly
• Pitch your own ideas based on your expert knowledge of the subject matter and understanding of the community.

Qualifications:
• Fluency in English and excellent writing skills
• Knowledge of SEO practices, WordPress, Trello, and Google Trends
• Expert knowledge of one of the franchises listed above

To Be Considered:

Rates: $16-250 per article depending on length and content type.
