They must be open to professional growth and learning and have the capacity to provide targeted, engaging learning opportunities for children. This position will commence on January 28, 2026, or once the relevant visa has been approved by the Australian Commonwealth Government.Australian or New Zealand graduate teachers, student teachers seeking Permission to Teach positions and part-time teachers are strongly encouraged to apply and will be fully supported in our school. Overseas-based applicants must have a minimum of two years of full-time teaching experience in primary schools to meet the visa requirements set by the Australian Commonwealth Government. They will also need to meet the requirements for teacher registration set by the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT), including a high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.You will be working for Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS), which owns and operates 300 Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne. MACS is one of Victoria's largest employers and is registered with the Australian Commonwealth Government to support the visa applications of successful overseas applicants.Key Selection CriteriaThe successful applicant will demonstrate:

• a willingness to work collaboratively.
• strong communication and interpersonal skills.
