Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is looking for a self-motivated and hardworking Shop Helper to join our fleet service shop. The ideal candidate will have previous truck driving or yard jockey/spotter experience.

Job Requirements & Qualifications
• Be able to work a varied schedule
• Ability to work overtime when busy
• Demonstrate a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Considerate and respectful attitude toward both internal and external customers
• Highly motivated to do what it takes to get the job done
• Willingness and ability to work with others and be a team player
• Ability to follow safety standards

Technology/Equipment
• Basic computer skills to complete work orders and time entry, etc.
• Skillfully and safely operate the Yard Truck and move trailers around yard

Licenses/Certificates
• Maintenance of an unrestricted driver’s license
• Successful completion of 40 hours of Yard Truck driving course
• Successful completion of a fork lift certification course

Job Responsibilities
• Services external customers by washing trailers inside and outside
• Proficiently and safely drive and operate the yard truck and back up semi-trailers with yard truck
• Perform interior and exterior trailer washes on trailers
• Clean up of shop, wash bay and fuel island
• Fueling of equipment
• Meet standard repair times for jobs performed
• Operates company and customer vehicles, Yard Truck, Fork Lift, Shop Truck
• Maintains confidentiality of all company information
• Follow established policies and procedures of both Transport Refrigeration Services and Customer
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
